Participants are encouraged to present a poster on a croque-related topic, and to compete for the poster prize.
Contents
Posters should feature an original theory or an experimental result in the field of croque monsieur making. A non-exhaustive list of suitable sub-disciplines:
- Toaster design and usage optimization.
- Types of bread and bread prepping.
- Flavour combinations.
- Filling layer theory.
- Eco-fillings.
- Side dishes and custom cutlery.
Format and display
Posters can be provided either in digital or in printed format.
Printed posters can be installed anywhere in the kitchen of N3, on a first-come first-served basis, prior to or during the welcome session (before the start of the poster session). Tape will be provided by the workshop organizers. There are no restrictions on the size of the poster, but you are responsible for the printing.
Digital posters will be displayed on a big screen in or close by the same kitchen. Instead of a poster, you are free to provide a set of slides, provided that you can go through them in the same time as a poster presentation (aim for 3 - 5 minutes max). Details on where to send your file will be provided later.
